Ontario Senior Games Association Halton District 21

District #21

Halton District #21 has had 700 participants
and more for various annual events. Forty-four
of our winners were sent to the August, 2008
Actifest at London, Ontario and forty-six to the February, 2009 Winterfest at Brockville.

In 2005, our first volleyball event was
established and a successful team was sent to the
Winerfest. A slow pitch baseball event was held
in June, 2005 as a demonstration effort.
A make-up Halton co-ed team played against
a Hamilton team. More games will be played
in the coming years.

The District committee is constantly endeavouring to increase
the number of participants and to find more exciting venues for
every one of our local events and for our 26 Halton Finals. Our
success is only as good as the number of volunteers who come
forth to assist in these efforts.

Volunteers,- volunteers,- volunteers, many are required. The payoff for their effort is to witness a good local competition and to hear the joyous reports
from those who go to the Provincial finals. Both Winterfest and
Actifest summer games will have over 1200 participants from
across the province.

Participants are invited to enter as many events in Halton as they
wish. See the Summer and Winter Events pages for the dates,
locations, and contact persons. The Registration page has the
form and details for registering.

Seniors play baseball, Hockey & volleyball? You betcha!
